This policy explains what information Gebeyalay collects, how we use it, and how you can request access, correction, or deletion.

1. Information we collect

Account information such as your email address, phone number, and encrypted authentication records.
Profile, listing, shop, review, and message content that you choose to submit in the product.
Transaction, moderation, and safety signals used to protect buyers, sellers, and the platform.
If you sign in with Facebook or Google, we may receive basic account details made available by that provider, such as your provider ID, name, email address, and profile photo.

To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
To publish listings, enable messaging, support local transactions, and personalize the marketplace experience.
To detect fraud, enforce marketplace rules, investigate abuse reports, and respond to support requests.
To maintain analytics and operational logs needed to improve reliability, safety, and product performance.

We do not sell your personal data.
We share data only with service providers required to operate the app, such as hosting, authentication, database, storage, email, and analytics infrastructure.
We may disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect users and the platform from fraud or abuse.

We keep account and marketplace data only as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal obligations.
You can initiate whole-account deletion inside the app or through our public account-deletion resource without sending a support email.
Deletion removes personal marketplace data immediately; narrowly required transaction, payment, fraud-prevention, dispute, security, or legal records may be retained only after they are detached from your profile and direct contact data is removed.

You can update your profile information inside the app where editing is available.
You can stop using social login by removing Gebeyalay from the connected app list in Facebook or Google.
You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of the personal data we store about you.
